I thought I would start a ‘get the look’ type series of posts so I could piece together a whole outfit with the great buys I find online…and to begin, whose style is better to steal than Miranda Kerr’s?

Josh Goot launches online boutique!

A relief for the time-poor shopper, now they can be money-poor too!!

Scrolling through the AW13 collection, there are so many cool pieces I’d love to see hanging in my wardrobe.

The sharp silhouettes and cool shapes that are quintessentially Josh Goot don’t disappoint.  The most recent collection is punctuated with clean, stark monochrome colourways which is juxtaposed with bright, amazingly intricate prints in fabulous colours such as blue, orange and green.

Lisa Ho – another Aussie fashion retailer bites the dust

Lisa Ho, an Australian fashion label known for creating quintessential evening wear, bridal gowns and funky separates has announced it will permanently close it’s doors to all stores across the country.

The announcement comes after the brand  went into voluntary administration on May 8.

It’s just too sad! What is the shape of things to come for Australian fashion?

Lisa Ho is an iconic brand that has been creating stylish and on trend pieces for over 30 years. With the rise of fast, international fashion such as Zara, Topshop, ASOS etc. we are losing our local fashion and the iconic brands we all know and love.

The only good thing about the closure is that there is a huge SALE on now at the Lisa Ho website and at the following concept stores until June 30th:

Lisa Ho Strand Arcade, Sydney

Lisa Ho @ David Jones, Elizabeth Street Sydney

Lisa Ho @ David Jones, Bourke Street Melbourne

Lisa Ho Chadstone, Melbourne

Lisa Ho Wintergarden, Brisbane

Your last chance to snap up some amazing pieces at heavily discounted prices from an Australian fash legend, happy shopping! x

Alexander Wang – must-have pieces at half price!

Sale season is very much upon us (a quick look at my bank balance reaffirms this) and the bargains couldn’t be better.

Today I am straying away from the Aussie brands featured last week,  and I’m jumping continents to the UK and The Outnet.

Think of this site as the little sister with the fabulous hand-me-downs to, one of the first purely online high-end boutiques.

I’m focusing today on Alexander Wang, and the must-have pieces you can find floating around on the Outnet for oh, I don’t know, 50+% off?!

Oooh I can hear your gasp from here!

Here’s my pick of the bunch…

The  Jacket

Structured panels, a clean silhouette and a flattering cut make this THE leather jacket to have in your wardrobe. And at 60% off you can’t afford not to.

Leather Jacket   £1,123.88  £361.67 (60% OFF)

The Heels

Can’t say I wear heels a lot of the time, I need to build my trust with a decent pair and once I find them, I commit for life (the life of the shoe, that is, before I skin it to death).

These sandals just look soft and so effortlessly chic. The crossover straps are flattering and in grey, they go with everything.

Leather Sandals £387.50  £193.75 (50% OFF)

The Tank

A silk tank suits any body shape and holds the power to immediately lift an outfit from casual to sexy. This simple Wang piece is perfect for work or play and comes in two bold colours.

Enzyme Silk racer-back tank £195.83  £78.33 (60% OFF)

The Dress

A relaxed shift dress is a versatile piece you can wear all year long. I’d rock this bad boy with some tan sandals in summer or even the aforementioned Wang heels. In winter, layer this up with stockings, boots and a mid-thigh length coat.

Color-block silk crepe de chine dress £295.83 £133.12 (55% OFF)
